Mark Vigor-Brown - Profile

Inspiration for my work comes by the magic and beauty that permeates the everyday world. I look at my immediate world for imagery. Both urban found objects as well as those found in nature play a part in my work.

 

Having worked in silver and gold for some twenty years, I now find my work has become more imaginative and it is easier to exploit my sources of inspiration.

 

More often than not I transform what may be a mundane every day object and by manipulating it and producing the end product in silver or gold, I can elevate it to the realm of wearable art or body ornament.
