Rowan Baker - Profile

An up and coming artist, Rowan Baker was born and remains located in Hawke's Bay.

At the young age of fourteen he started honing his abilities of manipulating materials, firstly in Bone & Pounamu, next adding wood to the mix, creating small contempary pieces of sculpture.

 

After spending a number of years focusing on the trade of cabinet-making, he has returned to his roots with his newly developed skills in precision grinding, designing pendants and cabinets thus creating personal sculptures for men and women in a range of materials.
